The 2004 Democratic Convention held in Boston was the culmination of a long and sometimes vicious race through the primaries. Many seemingly simple sounding yet historic items came from the 2004 democratic effort.

The internet was used effectivly for the first time as Howard Dean capitalized on the volunteerism and wanting supporters to donate to his and others campaigns in kind as well as financially.

For the first time in history a political event was turned into a small business and an ongoing organic and evolving resource; 2004DNC.com was not well recieved by the host committee as well as the Democratic National committee but with the guidance of Harvards Critical Mass ( a legal organization within Harvard that is steadfast in helping to shape the cyberspace legal landscape) and many others the site persevered - the site still leads many search results in the category and led the way  for the creation of many  commercialized poltical websites focused around the Dems and the upcoming 2008 Presidential Election.  The Reasonign behind the cvreation of 2004dnc were many, however, teh abiltiy to allow businesses of all sizes to compete for the tourism onslaught of a convention was what the city of Boston business community got excited about.

Where was the rush for green and creative energy proposals for the USA - there were some but for the most part it appears to be more of an issue this time around.

Each Convention brings with it a fresh or sometimes not so fresh cast of characters, Boston’s Convention was no different.

There were many worthwhile committee members including: President - David Passafaro, Director - Lee Satterfield ,Executive Director of the Democratic National Convention Committee Julie Burns, Fred Seigel, Micho Spring and many more.
